Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications, perform routine medical procedures, and maintain accurate records of patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy habits, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection control and quality assurance standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized Ethiopian university or college
• Valid nursing license from the Ethiopian Nursing Council
• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures, including medication administration and patient assessment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities
• Fluency in Amharic and English; knowledge of other local languages is an asset
