Moving & Relocation Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Moving & Relocation Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of domestic and international relocations for our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure seamless transitions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute relocations, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management
• Conduct needs assessments and provide personalized relocation solutions to clients
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality services
• Manage and track relocation expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to continuously improve relocation services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in relocation management, logistics, or a related field
• Proven track record of successfully managing relocations, with a focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with relocation management software
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with knowledge of other local languages an advantage
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
