Job Title: Logistics and Supply Chain Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• Coordinate and manage the procurement, transportation, and storage of goods and supplies
• Analyze and optimize logistics and supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Monitor and report on logistics and supply chain performance metrics, including delivery times, inventory levels, and costs
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry or organization
• Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management, such as CSCP or CLTD, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, practices, and technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software, such as ERP or TMS systems
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
