Job Title: General Storekeeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented General Storekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the overall organization and efficiency of our storage facilities, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and providing excellent support to the logistics and procurement teams. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials, ensuring accurate labeling and categorization.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring expiration dates, and reporting discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain effective storage and shelving systems to optimize space and minimize waste.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the storage facilities, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the logistics and procurement teams to ensure seamless delivery and receipt of goods.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian institution (e.g. TVET, University).
• At least 2 years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and software (e.g. ERP systems).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word) and experience with inventory management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and store heavy goods and materials, as required.
