Job Title: Inventory Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Inventory Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling the movement of goods, products, and materials within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, be highly organized, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
• Manage and maintain inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and analyzing inventory trends
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and materials
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and improve overall inventory management processes
• Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably in a similar industry
• Professional certification in inventory management, such as CIPS or APICS, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and software applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and inventory management software
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
