Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Brief Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our laundry facilities, providing high-quality laundry services to our clients, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to company standards and procedures
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Ensure all laundry items are cleaned and processed in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including the sorting, washing, and folding areas
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries and concerns
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve laundry department goals and objectives

Requirements

• Completed 10th grade or equivalent diploma from a recognized Ethiopian educational institution
• Previous experience in a laundry or hospitality environment is an asset
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time
• Basic knowledge of laundry procedures and equipment operation
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Certificate in laundry operations or a related field is an advantage
