In your cover letter attached to your CV please clarify your choice of either Time based or Delivery based rating mechanism for yourself, if chosen time based employee is expected to attend an 8hour shift each working day except Saturday which will be 4hours shift and no time slack is acceptable and will result in contractual measures to be taken. If you choose delivery based rating then you will be expected to deliver all assignments on schedule and no missing of delivery targets and slack in quality of delivered technical documents is allowed./

Experience Level: Junior professionals from 0 to 3 years of experience are welcome to apply.

Service Bond: Selected candidates must sign a formal commitment bond to serve the company for a minimum of Four (4) years after completing training and probation period.

Willingness to learn new software and enable oneself using online tutors and limited experienced engineers feedback,
Ability to work under deadlines and Creative thinking and attention to detail,
Basic knowledge of construction and engineering principles.
Flexibility: Absolute willingness to work project-driven overtime and travel assignments whenever required.
Academic Standing: Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.8+ for males and Strong secondary school and university aptitude results are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Determine requirements for drainage structures,
Conduct site inspections and field investigations,
Conduct weather and other pertinent data collection and analysis,
Delineate water dividing lines, determine catchment areas, and stream line lengths using available software, maps, and field investigations,
Conduct field studies of catchment characteristics and flow patterns along the route,
Determine rainfall-runoff and duration-intensity relationships,
Determine catchment runoff characteristics and channel slope/discharge characteristics for each catchment,
Design Road and Railway hydraulic structures like Bridges and Culverts, Determining their Size, shape, and orient cross-drainage structures to pass design floods without overtopping the road or railway,
Design Open Channels & Ditches for drainage including design of roadside drains, outfall channels, and interceptor ditches to safely convey water away from the alignment.
Design Embankment Protection for drainage including design of bank protections, ripraps, and retaining walls to protect trackbeds and roadways from adjacent waterways,
Draft detailed hydraulic studies, technical specifications, and design reports for regulatory approval,
Carry out hydrological surveys and investigations and estimate design discharge for drainage structures,
Participate in water supply, irrigation, and drainage system design
Assist in preparing technical drawings and project documentation,
Monitor project implementation and ensure compliance with standards,
Cost Estimation & BOQ: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for structural materials and construction labor
Coordinate with engineers and project teams during project execution.
About You
Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Good Software Knowledge: Ms-Excel, Ms-Word, Ms-Project, Civil-3D, AUTOCAD, INFRAWORKS, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Google Earth, Global Mapper, ARCH-GIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8.
Experience Level: Junior professionals from 0 to 3 years of experience are welcome to apply.
