Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop irrigation systems for agricultural and landscape projects.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine irrigation needs and requirements.
Prepare detailed project proposals, including budget estimates and timelines.
Analyze water needs for specific communities or agricultural areas
Evaluate the effectiveness of irrigation methods and strategies
Work on improving water conservation methods in irrigation
Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure all irrigation systems are integrated with overall project plans.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems.
Provide ongoing maintenance and support services for irrigation systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
Develop and implement water conservation strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology, and incorporate new ideas and techniques into projects.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing irrigation systems.
Knowledge of irrigation system components and their function, including pumps, valves, pipes, and sprinklers.
Ability to analyze and interpret data related to soil moisture, weather patterns, and crop water requirements.
Knowledge of irrigation system regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
