Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance operations of our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer satisfaction are met. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of the facility
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the facility
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
• Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Provide training and guidance to new staff members and ensure all staff are aware of and follow safety procedures and protocols
• Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian institution
• At least 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel, hospital, or similar facility
• Proven track record of successfully managing and motivating a team of housekeeping staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with staff, customers, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and quality of work
• Knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as international standards for housekeeping and hygiene
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages
