Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to ensure efficient service
• Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide personalized service to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, services, and events to effectively communicate with guests
• Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hostess area and dining room

Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university or college
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests, staff, and management
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Proficiency in Amharic and English, with knowledge of other local languages an asset
• Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
