Heavy Truck Driver

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy trucks for the transportation of goods safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding delivery status.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
Handle loading and unloading of cargo as necessary, ensuring proper securing of loads.
Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents immediately to management.
Assist with route planning to optimize efficiency and reduce delivery times.
Participate in safety training and comply with all safety regulations.

5 year Experience
Have Djibouti Entrance that is active

Required Skills:

Demonstrate proficiency in operating heavy trucks and understanding vehicle mechanics.
Exhibit strong knowledge of local and national traffic laws.
Maintain a clean driving record with a valid commercial driver’s license.
Showcase excellent navigation and route planning abilities.
Exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills in various driving conditions.
