Key Responsibilities
- Handle guest arrivals and departures, including check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage room assignments and key card distribution
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Process guest payments and handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and payments
- Provide information and recommendations on local attractions, amenities, and services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in Amharic and English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software
- Certificate in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
