Job Title: Group Reservation Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Group Reservation Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing group reservations, ensuring seamless communication with clients, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate group reservations, including room bookings, meeting spaces, and catering services
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and catering, to ensure successful group events
• Process group reservations, including rooming lists, billing, and payment processing
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
• Analyze and report on group reservation trends, providing insights to inform sales and marketing strategies

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Amharic and English, with knowledge of additional languages an asset
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and reservation software, with ability to learn new systems quickly
• Certificate in hospitality or a related field, such as a diploma in hotel management, is an advantage
