Job Description

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education:
A minimum of Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, International Trade, or related field.
Experience:Minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience for a Master’s degree, or 8 years for a PhD, with at least 5 years in senior management or executive leadership roles.
Proven experience in trade association management, export promotion, agribusiness, or private-sector development.
Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, and organizational leadership.
Technical Competencies:Strong understanding of Ethiopia’s agricultural policies, particularly in the pulses and oilseed export sectors.
Familiarity with international trade frameworks (GAFTA, FOSFA, AfCFTA, WTO).
Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic (both written and spoken).
Proficiency in project management, financial oversight, and digital tools.
