Job Title: General Maintenance

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Maintenance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on individual who is comfortable working with a variety of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts and equipment as needed
• Conduct repairs on buildings, equipment, and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
• Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and sanders
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and facilities as needed
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete tasks and projects efficiently
• Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to management in a timely manner

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in a relevant trade, such as electrical, plumbing, or carpentry from a recognized institution in Ethiopia
• At least 2 years of experience in a general maintenance role, preferably in a similar industry or setting
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair principles, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and understand technical manuals and instructions
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects and equipment as needed
