Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Engineer / Mid-Senior to join our team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface and user experience of our web applications. You will work closely with our backend team to ensure seamless integration and create a robust, scalable, and efficient frontend architecture. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive, mobile-first, and accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code using modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and backend engineering to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that the codebase is maintainable, scalable, and follows best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, and implement fixes and optimizations to improve application performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
  • At least 3 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate your skills and expertise
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX, and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and web performance optimization techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex frontend issues
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Developer are a plus
