Job Title: Engineering Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and audits to assess clients’ engineering needs and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement engineering solutions to meet clients’ requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with clients to understand their project goals and objectives and provide expert technical advice and guidance
• Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments and apply this knowledge to improve the quality of our services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering consulting or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g. PE, PMP) is an asset
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices, including design, construction, and project management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
