Job Title: Driver (Light Vehicle)

Brief Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver (Light Vehicle), you will be responsible for safely transporting employees, clients, and goods in a professional and courteous manner. You will also be required to maintain the vehicle in good condition, ensure compliance with traffic regulations, and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive light vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Transport employees, clients, and goods to designated locations
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition, performing routine checks and reporting any issues to management
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all passengers are treated with respect and courtesy
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security

Requirements

• Minimum of 2nd Grade Valid Driver’s License for Light Vehicles, issued by the Ethiopian Transport Authority
• At least 2 years of experience as a driver, preferably with a reputable organization
• Good knowledge of Ethiopian traffic laws and regulations
• Defensive driving skills and a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine vehicle checks
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on technical or vocational training
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
