Job Title: Driver

Brief Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting employees, visitors, and goods in a professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Ethiopian roads, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport employees, visitors, and goods to and from various destinations in a safe and timely manner
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues or incidents that may occur
• Perform other driving-related tasks as required by management

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably with a reputable organization
• Valid Ethiopian driver’s license, class B or higher
• Defensive driving skills and a strong knowledge of Ethiopian roads and traffic laws
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a diploma in a related field (such as automotive mechanics) being an advantage
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to speak Amharic and English, with other local languages being an advantage
