Job Title: Driver

Brief Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting employees, clients, and goods in a safe and timely manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining the vehicle and ensuring that it is in good working condition. If you are a skilled driver with a clean driving record and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport employees, clients, and goods to various destinations in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain the vehicle and ensure that it is in good working condition, including regular cleaning, oil changes, and other maintenance tasks
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits, traffic signals, and parking rules
• Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and management to provide excellent customer service
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs
• Report any accidents or incidents to management immediately
• Perform other duties as required, including running errands and making deliveries

Requirements

• Valid Ethiopian driver’s license, class B or C
• At least 2 years of driving experience, preferably with a reputable company or organization
• Defensive driving training and certification is an advantage
• High school diploma or equivalent, such as TVET or vocational training
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of Ethiopian roads, traffic laws, and regulations
