Job Title: Driver

Brief Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting employees, clients, and goods to various destinations within Addis Ababa and other regions of Ethiopia. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and secure transportation of people and goods, while also maintaining the company’s vehicle in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport employees, clients, and goods to various destinations in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure the vehicle is in good condition, perform routine checks, and report any mechanical issues to the management
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, and adhere to the company’s transportation policies
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and ensure it is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, and respond to their needs in a professional and courteous manner
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues that may arise during transportation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably with a reputable company or organization
• Valid Ethiopian driver’s license, with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively in Amharic and English, with good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, with the ability to perform routine checks and report any issues
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel to various destinations within Ethiopia
• Defensive driving skills, with a good understanding of road safety and emergency procedures
