Job Title: Customer Service Officer- Maker/Checker for Nekemte District
Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Officer- Maker/Checker to join our team in Nekemte District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and efficient manner. The Maker/Checker role will also involve verifying and approving transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Verify and approve transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a friendly and efficient manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve customer satisfaction
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to senior management or specialized teams as needed
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Stay up-to-date with company products, services, and policies to provide accurate and informative responses to customer inquiries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a banking or financial institution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Amharic and English, with knowledge of local languages an advantage
- Ability to work in Nekemte District, with a willingness to travel occasionally as needed
- Completion of a vocational training or certification in customer service, such as the Ethiopian Customer Service Certification, is an advantage
