Job Title: Construction Supervisor – Korem Project Re-Advertised

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including site preparation, excavation, and building construction
• Develop and implement construction schedules, budgets, and quality control measures
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
• Manage and coordinate the work of contractors, subcontractors, and laborers
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the project timeline or budget
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues
• Prepare and submit progress reports, budgets, and other documentation as required

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in a similar project setting
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with Ethiopian building codes, regulations, and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and other construction management software
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
