Civil Engineer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop construction projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure
• Conduct site investigations and analyze data to determine the best course of action for projects
• Prepare and submit plans, reports, and other documents to clients and stakeholders
• Manage and supervise construction teams, including contractors and subcontractors
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Collaborate with other professionals, including architects, engineers, and project managers
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in civil engineering

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in a construction or consulting engineering firm
• Professional certification from the Ethiopian Association of Civil Engineers or other relevant professional bodies
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other civil engineering software
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Fluency in Amharic and English; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
