Job Title: Assistance Research II

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistance Research II to join our research team. The successful candidate will assist in conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and providing support to senior researchers. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to contribute to innovative research projects and gain valuable experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings to inform research projects
• Assist in the design and implementation of research studies, including data collection and analysis
• Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to track and analyze data
• Provide administrative support to senior researchers, including preparing reports and presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve research goals and objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences, statistics, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in research assistance or a related field
• Proven knowledge of research methodologies and data analysis techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data analysis software
• Knowledge of Ethiopian research regulations and guidelines is an asset
