Job Title: Project Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the Africa CDC Regional Investment Financing Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, and coordinating with stakeholders to achieve project objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project that aims to strengthen healthcare systems in Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, setting realistic goals and milestones
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing costs
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and community organizations
• Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and taking corrective action as needed
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Africa CDC and donor regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Masters degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Finance, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian or international university
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the health sector or a related field
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, with a strong focus on results-driven implementation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and ability to think strategically
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Amharic, French) an asset
• Experience working with international organizations, government agencies, or private sector companies, with knowledge of Africa CDC and donor regulations an advantage
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) an added advantage
