Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing a variety of administrative tasks, including managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing correspondence. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to senior staff members, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
- Manage and maintain files, both physical and digital, in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to information
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Science, Office Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry or setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Fluency in Amharic and English is required; proficiency in other languages is an asset
