Job Title: Head of Solution Development

Brief Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Solution Development to lead our team in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the solution development team to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet client requirements and exceed their expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to identify business opportunities and develop solutions that drive revenue growth
• Develop and manage the solution development roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and industry trends
• Manage and mentor a team of solution developers, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure their growth and development
• Ensure the quality and integrity of solutions, adhering to industry standards, best practices, and company policies
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans to ensure effective solution development and delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university, such as Addis Ababa University or Bahir Dar University
• Minimum 8 years of experience in solution development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the Ethiopian IT industry
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth, with experience in the Ethiopian market
• Strong technical skills in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#, and experience with agile development methodologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of solution developers
• Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello, and familiarity with Ethiopian labor laws and regulations
• Certifications, such as PMP, ITIL, or TOGAF, are an added advantage, and knowledge of the Ethiopian job market and industry trends is highly desirable
