Job Title: IT & Digital Risk Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT & Digital Risk Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT and digital risks that could impact our organization’s operations, reputation, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT and digital risk management framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in our IT systems, networks, and digital platforms
• Design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, including security controls, procedures, and training programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT and digital risks are properly identified, assessed, and mitigated
• Develop and maintain IT and digital risk policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Provide training and awareness programs to employees on IT and digital risk management best practices
• Monitor and report on IT and digital risk metrics, including key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT and digital risk management, preferably in a banking or financial services organization
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of IT and digital risk management frameworks, including ISO 27001 and COBIT
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Ethiopian regulatory requirements, including the National Bank of Ethiopia’s (NBE) guidelines on IT and digital risk management
