Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Manage and maintain a designated sales route, ensuring regular visits to existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and support
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about market trends and competitor activity
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market feedback
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices, market intelligence, and sales strategies

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG or retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, practices, and techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Ethiopian driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within designated sales areas
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to use sales management software
  • Fluency in Amharic and English; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
