Sand Plant and Cullet Plant Supervisor

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sand Plant and Cullet Plant Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sand plant and cullet plant, ensuring efficient and safe production of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to ensure efficient and safe operation of the sand plant and cullet plant.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the plants to identify and address any maintenance or quality control issues.
  • Monitor and control production costs, ensuring that they are within budget and aligned with company goals.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a sand plant or cullet plant.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of production staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Fluency in Amharic and English is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage.
