Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our residential team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals for the residents, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring that all food safety and health standards are met. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Plan and create menus that are nutritious, delicious, and varied
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including all equipment and utensils
• Ensure that all food safety and health standards are met, including proper food storage and handling
• Manage kitchen supplies and inventory, including ordering and receiving food and other supplies
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide excellent service to residents

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field from a recognized institution in Ethiopia
• At least 2 years of experience working as a cook in a residential or commercial setting
• Knowledge of Ethiopian cuisine and international cooking techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and stand for long periods of time
