Project Manager-SRH Alliance

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team as part of the SRH Alliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including team members, partners, and donors to achieve project goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, including setting goals, objectives, and timelines
  • Coordinate and lead project teams, including providing guidance, support, and supervision
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Identify and manage project risks, including developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Communicate project progress and results to stakeholders, including preparing reports and presenting findings
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners, donors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Business Administration, or Public Health
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the development or healthcare sector
  • Proven track record of managing successful projects, including experience with project planning, budgeting, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
  • Experience working with international donors, such as USAID, UNFPA, or WHO
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Amharic or other local languages an advantage
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, or Trello
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an added advantage
