Job Title: Market System Development Team Lead

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market System Development Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of market systems that drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement market system strategies that align with the organization’s overall business objectives
• Lead a team of market system development professionals to design, develop, and deploy market systems that meet customer needs
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of market system strategies
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to track market system performance and progress
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with market system development and implementation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve market system development and implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in market system development, marketing, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful market system strategies that drive business growth and improvement
• Strong knowledge of market research, analysis, and reporting, with experience in using data to inform business decisions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading and managing high-performing teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to think strategically and creatively
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Ethiopian businesses, organizations, or government agencies is an advantage
