Job Title: Regional Coordinator

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Coordinator to oversee our operations in a specific region of Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing our programs, managing relationships with local stakeholders, and ensuring that our activities are aligned with our overall strategy. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional plans and strategies to achieve our organizational goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and partner organizations
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of programs and projects in the region, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to local teams and partners, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver our programs effectively
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of our programs in the region, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Represent our organization in regional forums and meetings, promoting our mission and values and building our reputation as a leader in our field

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Public Administration, or Social Sciences, from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with an international organization or NGO
  • Strong knowledge of the region and its cultural, economic, and social context
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve their goals
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and accountability
  • Willingness to travel frequently to different parts of the region, as required
