Job Title: Senior Officer, Africa Partnerships

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Officer, Africa Partnerships to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across Africa, with a focus on driving business growth and expanding our presence in the region. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement partnership strategies to achieve business objectives and expand our presence in Africa
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with key stakeholders, including governments, private sector companies, and non-profit organizations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align partnership strategies with business objectives and ensure effective implementation
• Provide market insights and analysis to inform partnership decisions and drive business growth
• Represent the company in external meetings and events, promoting our brand and values

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or a related field, with a focus on Africa
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining strategic partnerships that drive business growth
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide market insights and analysis
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional African languages an advantage
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of the African market, with a deep understanding of the cultural, economic, and political context
