Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, presenting them with menus and ensuring that they have an exceptional dining experience
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle payments in a timely and efficient manner
• Provide knowledge of menu items, making recommendations and answering questions as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Waitress/Waiter in a reputable hotel or restaurant
• TVET/Level IV certificate in Food and Beverage Service or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
• Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Fluency in English, with knowledge of other languages being an added advantage
