Job Title: Plumbing/ Handyman

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing/ Handyman to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to contribute to the upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances
• Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing and replacing doors, windows, and other wooden structures
• Assist with general maintenance tasks, including electrical and painting work
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless completion of tasks and projects

Requirements

• Completed TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) in plumbing or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in plumbing, carpentry, or a related trade
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights
• Valid Ethiopian driver’s license (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to communicate effectively in Amharic and/or English
