Key Responsibilities
Programme Strategy and Management
Design and develop WPS and Humanitarian Action programme strategies
Manage project implementation and budgets
Coordinate programme monitoring and reporting
Organize evaluation and steering committee meetings
Technical and Capacity Development
Provide technical support to programme partners
Coordinate capacity-building initiatives
Develop tools and methodologies related to WPSHA
Partnerships and Resource Mobilization
Develop donor engagement strategies
Build partnerships with governments, NGOs, and UN agencies
Support fundraising and cost-sharing initiatives
Advocacy and Knowledge Management
Develop advocacy strategies and knowledge products
Represent UN Women in policy dialogues and meetings
Document lessons learned and best practices
Required Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, international development, human rights, or related field
Bachelor’s degree with additional experience may be accepted
Programme management certification is an added advantage
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant programme management experience
Experience in Women, Peace and Security or Humanitarian Action required
Experience supervising teams in international settings required
UN system experience is desirable
Languages
Fluency in English required
Knowledge of Arabic or French is desirable
