LonAdd HR Consultancy Plc (www.lonadd.com) is a Recruitment & Outsourcing Company based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with branch offices in Dukem and Hawassa.

We are looking for a competent Projects Document Controller for our client Tulu Kapi Gold Mine.

This role is a contract position on a definite period contract of employment.

Job Purpose

The Projects Document Controller will be responsible for the administration, management, and compliance of all project documents on the Tulu Kapi construction project.
The role ensures that contractual obligations are met, risks are managed, and all stakeholders operate within agreed frameworks, aligned with both Ethiopian construction regulations and international standards.
Location

Based in Addis Ababa for an initial period of approximately 12 months and then relocating to the Projects Office on the Tulu Kapi Mine Site in West Wollega.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Manage and oversee platform to be selected (ProjectWise, Aconex or similar) and be the superuser managing permissions and workflows.
Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific document control procedures and plans.
Review and audit incoming/outgoing documents (drawings, lists, specs, notes, reports, etc) for compliance with standards.
Ensure uninterrupted appropriate access to latest revisions.
Organize and archive documents for secure storage and easy retrieval.
Generate status reports.
About You
Key Skills/Experience Required

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in document control, particularly within engineering and construction environments.
Minimum Required Qualifications

Appropriate specialized training in document management and project controls.
Language Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication with language proficiency in English, Afaan Oromo and Amharic at the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) category C1: Proficient User standard.
Competencies Required

Proficient in MS Outlook, Office and Excel and exposure to Document Control Software.

Highly organized with exceptional accuracy in task outputs.
