Job Title: Construction Foreman

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate and manage construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other skilled workers
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
• Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during the construction process

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Ethiopian building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software
