Job Title: Project Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our team at Beleqet Jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives, and will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, resolving issues, and escalating concerns as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans as required
• Monitor and control project progress, taking corrective action as needed to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners
• Manage project scope, ensuring changes are properly assessed, approved, and implemented
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science, from a recognized Ethiopian university
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Professional certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methods, and tools, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
• Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello, and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
