Job Title: Service Provider for Monitoring, Institutional Capacity Building, and Reporting for Financial Service Providers (FSPs) in Woldiya, Amhara region

Brief Summary

We are seeking a competent Service Provider (SP) to undertake monitoring, institutional capacity building, and reporting for Financial Service Providers (FSPs) in Woldiya, Amhara region. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the capacity of FSPs, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting, and contributing to the overall development of the financial sector in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of FSPs to assess their performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement capacity-building programs for FSPs to enhance their institutional capacity, management, and governance
  • Provide technical assistance and training to FSPs on financial management, risk management, and other relevant areas
  • Establish and maintain a reporting system to track the progress of FSPs and provide regular reports to stakeholders
  • Foster collaboration and coordination among FSPs, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders to promote the development of the financial sector
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with FSPs and develop strategies to address them

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • At least 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, institutional capacity building, and reporting, preferably in the financial sector
  • Proven track record of working with FSPs, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders in the financial sector
  • Excellent knowledge of the Ethiopian financial sector, including laws, regulations, and policies governing FSPs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Fluency in Amharic and English languages is required, with proficiency in local languages being an added advantage
  • Experience in using monitoring and evaluation tools, as well as reporting software, is desirable
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels
