Job Title: System Administration Services for the Child Protection Information Management System Plus (CPIMS+)

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to provide technical support and maintenance for the Child Protection Information Management System Plus (CPIMS+). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the system, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing training and support to users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working with database management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the CPIMS+ system, including database management, user management, and system security
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve system errors in a timely and efficient manner
• Provide training and support to users on the use of the CPIMS+ system, including data entry, data analysis, and reporting
• Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize system enhancements and bug fixes
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and training materials
• Ensure compliance with organizational data security and privacy policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in system administration, preferably with experience working with database management systems
• Strong knowledge of system administration principles, including database management, user management, and system security
• Experience with system troubleshooting and problem-solving, including debugging and resolving technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to provide training and support to users
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
• Familiarity with Ethiopian data security and privacy regulations and standards
• Proficiency in English, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
