Senior Sales Accountant

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing sales data, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to support business growth. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Prepare and review financial reports, including sales forecasts and revenue projections
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide financial insights and support
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales accounting or a related field
• Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA or ACCA, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and regulations
• Experience with financial software and systems, such as ERP and CRM
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Fluency in Amharic and English is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an advantage
