Job Title: Senior Recruitment and Onboarding Officer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Recruitment and Onboarding Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring that we attract, select, and retain top talent to drive business growth and success. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to job offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide guidance on best practices
  • Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated into the organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, candidates, and external partners
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve the recruitment process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment and onboarding, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of successful recruitment and onboarding initiatives, with a strong understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with HR information systems and recruitment software
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer service, quality, and attention to detail
  • Certification in HR, such as a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or a Certified Recruitment and Selection Professional (CRSP), is an added advantage
