Job Title: Senior Performance and Learning Expert

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance and Learning Expert to lead the development and implementation of performance improvement and learning strategies that drive business results. The successful candidate will have a strong background in organizational development, performance management, and adult learning principles. This is a top urgent position that requires a high level of expertise and the ability to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive performance improvement plans that align with organizational goals and objectives
• Develop and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge, and drive business results
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement learning solutions that support business objectives
• Evaluate the effectiveness of performance improvement and learning initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement
• Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers on performance management and development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance management and adult learning

Requirements

• Masters degree in a relevant field such as Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in performance improvement and learning development
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and performance management
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop data-driven recommendations
• Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an asset
• Certificate in a relevant professional certification such as CIPD, SHRM, or ATD is an advantage
