Job Title: Senior Electrician

As a Senior Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential electrical hazards
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning properly
• Supervise and train junior electricians and other maintenance staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical problems

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian institution
• At least 5 years of experience as an electrician, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior role
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and standards
• Experience with electrical testing and measurement equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Ethiopian driver’s license (optional)
• Registration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Electricity or a relevant professional body
