Senior Auditor

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and leading audit engagements to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our audit team to identify and mitigate risks, and provide recommendations for process improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements, including risk assessments, test plans, and audit reports
• Lead and supervise audit teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful audit outcomes
• Conduct financial statement audits, internal control reviews, and compliance audits
• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including responding to inquiries and providing audit updates
• Stay up-to-date with changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry developments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Professional certification, such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant)
• At least 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in a senior role
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian auditing standards, laws, and regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to lead and manage teams, with strong supervision and mentoring skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
