Job Title: Scrum Master

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team at Beleqet Jobs. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and leading Agile teams in the adoption and implementation of Scrum principles and practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Coach and guide the team in Agile principles and Scrum framework
• Remove impediments and facilitate the flow of work for the team
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is up-to-date and refined
• Monitor and report on team velocity and sprint progress
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency and effectiveness
• Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role
• Proven experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Fluency in English and Amharic (spoken and written)
